You don't have to go far in the Texas Hill Country to enjoy good music and good food when you stay at Roddy Tree Ranch.
The Lazy Days Canteen, the premier music venue of the Texas Hill Country, offers live entertainment on Saturday nights from spring to fall. Performers who have appeared at the Lazy Days Canteen include Nashville recording artist, Dana Cooper, whose amazing career spans four decades, Memphis Ghost Town Blues Band, Roxy Roca, Terry Emden & the Galaxy Reggae Band, Monte Montgomery, Kim Simmons & Savoy Brown, Joe King Carrasco and Max Baca y Los Texmaniacs, to name a few.
For more country and folk music, you can attend the Kerrville Folk and Music Festival, Texas Heritage Day, or the Kerr County Fair. These are all held in Kerrville, just a few miles from Roddy Tree Ranch. You can spend the entire day at these events and return to your cottage rental within minutes.
