Vacation Rentals in the Heart of Texas Hill Country

This is our 6th year here at Roddy Tree. Our annual Hill Country Vacation is a family tradition that started back in the 40's...memories we make here will last a lifetime.

Dear Roddy Tree, Thank you for this very nice place to stay for our church retreat. This Is about the 10th time I have been here...I think of this place as a little peace(sic) of heaven in Texas!

Thank you for giving us such a great deal on folks staying at the Ranch. We have had many Christian Retreats in Texas over the years and Roddy Tree Ranch is always one of the first ones to fill up…we sure appreciate your hospitality.

I have been deployed in Iraq but finally got the chance to come to our church retreat at Roddy Tree for the first time...now I know what all the talk is about, you have a beautiful place and I will be back

The meeting room was beautiful, the food delicious and the service terrific … we were able to accomplish our mission goals and have some fun in the process…

What a great stay! These cabins were very nice and close to Vista Camps, where we were having a wedding. Staff was very friendly and made our stay stress free.

We needed a peaceful getaway and that is what we got at Roddy Tree. Our little cabin was very clean and away from the pool area and canteena. We sat on the deck in the cool breeze and just enjoyed the quiet time under the stars. We went to the Point Theater in Ingram for their outside 8:30 performance. Our trip back to our cabin was less than 2 miles. Very convenient. We will go back.

The Roddy Tree Ranch is like our second home. This is our go-to spot anytime we need to getaway. My husband and I have stayed in several of the cabins over the years and they each have their own charm. This is a great place for large family get-togethers, weddings, and other events, or in our case, just some cozy couple time. Saturdays are a lot of fun with the house band, the River Rats, and about once a month they bring in a visiting band - anything from country to reggae.

Every year my family's summer vacation is PERFECT at Roddy Tree! We love the property and all the options for activities that are available to guests. Roddy Tree Ranch is perfect for families with people of ALL ages. We look forward to our time here every year!

This is our third stay at the Roddy Tree Ranch. Each experience has been great. The owner, Keith, is friendly. The grounds are kept natural. There is usually live music in the evenings. We love this rustic quirky place and will definitely keep coming back.

I absolutely love this place. It has been the favorite place that my Grandkids chose for a Summer trip. The houses we have stayed at are excellent, well kept, well stocked, and very comfortable. We have been several times throughout the years. You will not be disappointed. The Asbury's are the fantastic hosts, they will do everything possible to make you stay the best.

"Great Location to bring family and relax. The grounds have amenities so you don't have to leave as long as you have food you can bbq or cook ya own meals. Enjoying the wildlife and chilling by the pool or pond with the ducks you have a blast feeding. Can kayak also through the tunnel. We will be back there is about a 30min drive to Fredericksburg."

"Was looking for an authentic Texas experience for my kids coming to visit us for the first time and this was excellent! Due to the pandemic they had postponed and then the cabin we chose was occupied so they upgraded them to the Pecan Springs Farm and it was so spacious and beautiful! What an awesome experience for them. Will definitely be back!!"
